"Door's shut it won't open up, there's nothing I can do for you, as much as I wanted to" lyrics from the title track off of "Not What You Once Were"

Though the space around the doorway is open, the door remains inaccessible for better or for worse to what once entertained behind it. Mostly written in 2019 through a series of exhausted behavior patterns that left me at a loss. I met quite a few hurdles prolonging the process of the release following recording in the beginning of 2020. Some of which I'm still struggling to overcome. This release is a mere 24 minutes resembling an ep yet it is special to me and feels more like an album. I recorded on my own, but this was my first arrangement that I have had professionally mixed and mastered. I am proud and pleased to showcase the style that I had developed and accepted from myself that formed my own version reminiscent of indie rock/pop.
